“I had planted you like a choice vine

2 Kings 17:13 “They also built stone images of foreign gods and set up sacred poles for the worship of Asherah on every hill and under every shady tree.”

Now, how many hills are in California? And how many trees are in Washington? That’s how many idols we might have. I talk about myself. I felt so convicted.

God is so graceful and merciful, I do not deserve His love. Then He goes on and tells Jeremiah about our devotion to Him, about our love as a bride, when we would follow Him in the wilderness, in a land not sown. (Jeremiah 2:2).

His passionate, romantic speech after our adulterous behavior was so alluring, and made me wonder why did I ever go after other gods, why didn’t I or don’t I trust Him enough that He will come through for me?

I can say that I’m under construction, and sometimes I fail, and go back to the cross and start over again. He is the fountain of living water, he is the one who satisfies my soul.

I pray that God continues to bless you where you are, and that your fire for Him will not be put off by any trials or temptations.

God says: “Be mine”. What  do you say?

“When I look up to the sky to see the stars I remember nights in the
fields thinking thoughts of God. I remember that the same stars once led
people to freedom.” I feel like Abraham, gazing at the stars, as God promised him a heir. I look up to the sky,I feel so small, but so loved; I have a name that is written in th…e stars, and that is REDEEMED.

“Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone, To have a deep soul relationship with another, To be loved thoroughly and exclusively, But God to a Christian says: “No, not until you are satisfied, fulfilled, and content With giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me, With having an intensely personal and unique Relation with Me alone, Discovering that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, Will you be capable of the perfect relationship That I have planned for you. You will never be united With another until you are united with Me, Exclusive of any other desires or longings. I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, And allow Me to give you the most thrilling plan existing One that you cannot imagine. I want you to have the best. Please allow Me to give it to you. You just keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things; Keep experiencing the satisfaction that I AM; Keep listening and learning the things that I tell you. You just wait, Do not be anxious, do not worry, Do not look at the things you want; You just keep looking off and the way up to Me Or you will miss what I want to show you. the one I have for you is ready (I am working even at this moment to Have both ready at the same time), Until you are both satisfied exclusively With ME and the life that I have prepared for you, You will not be able to experience the love that exemplifies Your relationship with Me, And this is the Perfect Love. And dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your Relationship with Me, and to enjoy Materially and concretely, The everlasting union of beauty, perfectness, And love that I offer you with Myself. Know that I love you utterly. I am God. Believe, and be satisfied.”

Many years of research and projects have not wore them down. This new project seemed very interesting for them. It was the only thing they were passionate about.

Every night one of them would look at the sky…and wait… and hope. The other two were caught up in the map routes and calculus.

Tonight was different though. The atmosphere was just so…peaceful and quiet. Only one cricket was disturbing their work when the old man came in running:

-“I’ve seen the star!Come and see! It’s the omen we’ve been waiting for!”

-“It cannot be! After our calculus”… he rushed out the door after the two other.

-“Spectacular!”

-“This is our miracle!” said the oldest magi  falling on his knees. “I am not worthy,oh God, to see this miracle happening,but I thank you for you are good,your love endures forever!”

Not long after they’ve seen the star,the magi were on their way following  the starlight lingering on the path.

Countless days have passed and finally,after an encounter with Herod and his wicked witches they were on their way again.

“How could they not be aware of their new king? How could this be? Weren’t  those prophecies clear enough?”

Frustrated they stopped for a sip of water. Caught their breath then again…their camels were tired too…It has been a long time since they left home… A thousand miles away.

-“Look! Is that what i think it is?”

-“Oh,my Lord!”

-“We could only find out if we check to see what’s inside”.

The town of Bethlehem was a small,peasant place. Nothing fancy about it. As they were following the star to the town’s limit,they could hear donkeys and once in a while cows asking for nourishment.

-“The star seems to stop right on top of the little old animal’s shelter.”

-“Hmmm.The prophet did say that there was nothing attractive about this new king…”

-“While this town is sleeping,their new king is born.”

-“Indifference kills the human souls. They are dying of thirst when the river is right in front of them”.

Now,these three are closer than ever to witness the miracle. As they get closer,the door was cracking up .

-“Can I help you?” the voice of a young man came.

-“Yes. We’re here to see the One that Isaiah was talking about, the Wonderful Counselor,Almighty God, Redeemer and Prince of Peace. We’ve seen the star and came to bow before Him.”

Here he is: baby Jesus.

-“Jesus”,they whispered… as they bowed and brought their offerings: gold, perfume and myrrh.

The God that came to save his people from their sins. The God that came as a child…to show tenderness and love. The God that still saves the people from their iniquities  and sicknesses. That God still hopes you’ll take some time now to meditate about his great gift that he’s offered you.

The magi found Him,they worshiped Him and they went home another way,changed forever.

Today you have a chance to find Him . Take time to search for Him,when you find Him worship Him,then go another way.

When God allows one door to close,He will open another door for you,revealing something bigger and better.
The Bible says that God will take the evil that the enemy brings into our lives,and if we’ll keep the right attitude,He’ll turn it around and use it for our own good.He wants to take those disappointments and turn them into reappointments,depending on your willingness to let go of the past.

I had a tendency to dwell on what I could have done, which career I should have pursued or that person I wish I would have married. Till today. I quit living in a negative frame of mind,thinking about something that is over and done. I decided to focus on what I can change,rather than what I cannot.Now,it is your turn to do the same… I dare you…

Shake yourself out of that “should have,could have,would have” mentally and move on. Don’t let the regrets of yesterday destroy the hopes and dreams of tomorrow.

Surely,we all can look back and see things in our lives that we wish we would have done differently.But the Bible says: “Make the most of each day.” Yesterday is gone;tomorrow may not come.You and I must live for today.Start right where you are.You can’t do anything about what’s gone but you can do a great deal about what remains.

You may have made some poor choices that have caused you awful heartache and pain.Perhaps you feel that you have blown it,that your life is beyond repair.You may feel disqualified from God’s best,convinced that you must settle for second best for the rest of your life.But God desires your restoration even more than you do!If you let go of your past,God will restore everything that the enemy has stolen from you.

Remember,God always has another plan.Sometimes,because of our disobedience or sin,we miss out on God’s “Plan A”. The good news is,God has a “Plan B”,”Plan C”,and whatever it takes to get us to His final destination for our lives.

Consider this: If you have to wait anyways,why not make a decision to enjoy your life while you’re waiting?Why not be happy while God is in the process of changing things?After all,there’s nothing we could do to make things happen any faster.We might as well relax and enjoy our lives,knowing that at the right time,God will keep his promise. It’s going to happen,and the good news is,it’s not going to be one second late! Imagine how much pressure that can take off you!

I’ve learned to wait. I learned to be puzzled and wait. I continue experience complexity and confusion over matters; but I know if I will wait God will keep His promise. He will show up with full explanation.

Over time I’ve learned the value of waiting. Sometimes I have been allowed to get my way only to watch my own dream crash in flames alongside the road of happiness.

Waiting on the Lord isn’t always the easiest thing I’ve had to do. It’s painful. It takes courage to keep myself together and hope for a better day.

God allowed me to go through rough times,not to make me weaker,but stronger. Difficulties and hard times are,simply put,when I walk by faith and I’m afraid to take a step any further.

King David said: “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” It means that I can see just a step further. That’s all I need,to take one step a the time.

To wait for the morning,may be difficult but the darkest hour is before dawn. Someone said that when God is silent,that’s when the hardest work is being done behind the curtains.

I believe that no matter how hard it is or how long it will take for the morning to come,it will all be worthwhile.

When I will see the beautiful dawn and the colors of the painted skies,my sadness will be replaced with the greatest joy. The anguish will vanish just as clouds after the rain.

I will know it’s morning,I will know it’s all better. I will know His redeeming love has put a smile in my heart.

That’s when I’m waiting for the morning…
